Once again, I’m behind on blogging… here’s Sarah, from the class of 2010. She has so much natural beauty.

I kicked the summer wedding season off with Kristina and Jesse- these two have been patient in seeing their images… I’ve had four weddings since theirs, and haven’t really slowed down! But anyway, it was fun to see the big day come together for these two! They’re so affectionate and cute with each other, and I see them regularly the Wesleyan Church, so I think they’re off to a good start.
Kristina’s grandpa and grandma were so nice, and truly happy for their grand-daughter.
Sharing a special moment together just after the ceremony… I just love these moments- and capturing them is so important!
And again, the happy couple- ready to head to their party!
I didn’t have to give them much instruction on being sweet with eachother.
Cute idea! (And a big hit with all the guests.)

Also, on our little roadtrip: my compadres. Andree, having a good time pretending to be a farm girl by driving the Gator, Brian the redneck on the 4-wheeler, and Colby and Copper… the hilarious farm dogs. And occasionally my dorky-horse-obsession-from-childhood reappears.
This pretty Chesnut lives across the road.

Andree and I road-tripped to Gary a couple weeks ago… she’d never been there, and I was feeling a little creative, so I grabbed my camera, and we headed to the farm. I absolutely love the Thorpe farm… honestly, if it weren’t so dang far from Brookings, I think we’d build a home there next to the creek, and live happily ever after.
Here are a few images from my new “Locals” collection, to be released at a later date!

What a fun week, with all these little ones.. I love babies!! And this job gives me a routine baby fix… I get to cuddle and play with them, but send ‘em home with mommies at the end of the day.
Elle really has a fantastic personality, which, having known her parents for a few years now, is really no surprise!

I’ve photographed these cuties since they were babies… Thanks Robin, for taking a chance with me when I had just opened in Brookings, lol- in between stacks of drywall paint gallons, I met Jack and Malayna.
It took Malayna awhile to warm up to me for this session, but soon enough, this sweet, shy little smile came out.

Headed over to the loft… so precious.

… to the most fantastic man I really could have ever imagined.
I came home from golf last Monday to find my adorable boyfriend, with dinner and candles in what is my favorite place in the world- my back yard. It was so fitting, because that’s kind of become our favorite spot to hang out together; building a fire, and veggin out in the hammock. And here we are on the special evening. Hooray!! Oh, and did I mention we’re getting married in 2 months? That’s the best part. I’m pumped!

Okay, not exactly. But at the SPA conference in Vegas this winter, the small group Sinners and I led, was chosen to be featured in a promotional/educational DVD, so if you want to see a bit of what we do at these events, or even just to see me lookin’ like a complete dork, check it out.

Someone passed this along to me, and I found it to be pretty funny. lol. Especially since I could see myself doing any number of these things.

I love these two… we’ve been friends for years, and I’ve enjoyed seeing them get married and start a home together.
